

Thomas de Leeuwe is a specialist in construction law. Having focused on construction early in his career he has amassed a broad expertise on project issues as well as the ins and outs of the major (international) standard form construction contracts, including all FIDIC models. Known for a keen interest in the sometimes complex technical matters – from geotechnical problems to construction issues, he is a sought after advisor in contentious matters surrounding projects. Thomas represents clients before all the relevant institutes, including civil courts, N.A.I. and especially the RvA (Raad van Arbitrage in Bouwgeschillen).
Thomas is a member of the board of the Association for Construction Law Attorneys and of the editorial board of the Journal for Construction Law, where he also publishes regularly.
