Robert van Agteren is an experienced litigator with a specific focus on clients in the construction, real estate & development and energy industry. His practice centres on matters at the crossroads of Corporate Litigation, Commercial Litigation and Restructuring & Insolvency. Robert is frequently brought in by clients on bet-the-company assignments, engaging with both the inhouse legal teams and the C-suite. He is also engaged by Supervisory/Non-Executive Boards to provide advice independent of the company’s counsel.
In addition to Enterprise Chamber matters and commercial litigation, Robert represents clients before all major national and international arbitration institutes, including ICC and NAI, and represents clients before the European Court of Justice in Luxemburg.
Robert is a member of the Association for Corporate Litigation, the Netherlands Association for Comparative and International Insolvency Law, as well as the Dutch Restructuring Association.
